Lead Climbing Course – £75 Per Person
Learn to Lead climb at Alter Rock, Derby.
Learn to lead in a safe environment, with experienced climbing instructors taking you through the vital steps from top rope to lead climbing.
The lead climbing course will teach you how to clip a rope as you climb up the wall and how to belay for a lead climber.
The course will also help you too:
– Find out more about the different uses for climbing kit
– Gain skills to make the right decisions en route, become a more proficient belayer
– Pick up more advanced climbing techniques to enable you to climb the routes you always dreamed of
– Learn transferable skills for climbing outside
Course pre-requisites
You must be competent at belaying/ tying into a rope/fitting a harness, able to climb on a top rope confidently and comfortably at a grade chosen by you.
4.5 hour minimum course (3 x 1.5 Hours)
